It is also possible for you to message or text me to request a delivery, but to do this I need quite a bit of information... (I need these things to ensure I can fulfill the request/sale - that I have the color/number you need and that I can actually get to the recipient and deliver, etc.)
Requesting Roses / Deliveries
This is only for days when I'm actively at Revel Grove selling flowers.
If you need to reach me to request I come see you in person to sell roses or arrange deliveries just use the contact info provided on the contact page. I prefer Facebook Messenger if you use it as I get those directly on my watch and it tends to get my attention most quickly
NOTE that If I don't recognize a phone number I'll likely let it roll to voicemail - please use a phone call only as a last resort.
TL;DR:
All of what I am about to say can be shortened to: I need to TALK TO YOU before I can commit to any delivery so we can work out the details. The following is just restating this in excruciating detail.. but honest, just head back to the contact info section and contact me.
To request delivery I need to Who, Where, What, When, and Messaging
Who
I need a name. If they're a cast member/character I prefer both their "mundane name" and their character name. It's also often really helpful if they're on Facebook as I may be able to look them up to have an idea what they look like
Speaking of that, a brief description of them (if texting of FB messaging and you have a pic of them even better) and if possible a description of what they're CURRENTLY wearing so I can make sure I get the delivery to the right person.
Where
I really can't chase down patrons unless you know EXACTLY WHERE THEY ARE AND WILL BE FOR A WHILE. There are certain regulars whom I know well enough and know their routines well enough I may be able to track them down (certain friends are pretty much fixtures in certain taverns/locations and are usually there all day), but please if you need this, make sure you talk to me and that I agree, "yes I can find them". However, as a general rule, I can only deliver to participants (Vendors and cast members) and preferably vendors that are at known booths/locations. I will optionally take on a delivery to a cast member who roves about (performers who have specific, known stage times / shows and/or roving cast members) but this may not always be possible - they move about and there are a LOT of people at faire.
So preferably the Where will be a booth or stage or tavern where the person is known to be and will be for a while.... I may need to talk to you directly before I can agree to some deliveries to ensure I'm not committing to something I can't fulfill.
What
I need to know how many roses and if there's a specific color choice etc..
Is the delivery "recipient chooses" or should I choose? or do you need a specific color etc?
NOTE that the stock is constantly changing and unless I talk to you in person and specifically say Yes I have a certain color / enough of that color for you, please don't assume I will have a given color with the usual exception of Red - we almost never run out of red. It is also ok to just say "any color but X", or "I prefer X, but any color is fine"
Basically, if you have a specific requirement for colors, make sure you talk to me.
When
Give me an idea of when - it may well be as general as "this weekend" or "today" and it's always easiest if you just say "as soon as possible" or "at your convenience"
If you need any specific time then its critical that you TALK TO ME DIRECTLY either in person or via messenger/text/phone to ensure that what you are asking for is possible for me to schedule, and do it as far in advance as possible. Again, Faire is very chaotic and the more specific a time window, the more difficult it is to be sure I can
Messaging
Are you wanting this to be completely anomymous (no message jsut deliver and walk away) or do you need me to deliver a short message? do you want me to say who its from or say it's anonymous etc..
Some of the most fun I've had has been when folks ask me to be "over the top" or make up an embarassing/silly song. I'm here for the "street theatre".
NOTE: It should go without saying that I reserve the right to refuse. I will not condone or aid in any messaging that I feel is harassing, stalking, or or unwanted.
General
Essentially, Faire is an incrediby busy and dynamic place and the more specific your needs, the more important it is to talk directly - in person, phone or via messenger. Email/text is useful for a quick "can you stop by so and so and deliver one rose of their choice to Fribble Fizbane who is working at Magic Swizzlestix on stub toe lane"
Regular Deliveries
In addition to one-off deliveries / special requests, I am available to do "regular" deliveries - such as "we'd like 2 yellow roses dropped off for our booth [booth-name-here] each morning, no substitution (only if yellow is available)"
